​West Seattle Backyard Cottage

​800sf backyard cottage for a single parent to age-in-place.   A two story main living space opens to a deck and garden.  Hydronic heated concrete floors, ODHW, HRV and remote window shades are efforts in sustainability. 

The project is included in Sightline Institute's Status of Seattle backyard cottages 2017, AARP's Livable Communities Magazine WHERE WE LIVE 2018 (a Hermes Creative Award Winner) and AARP's ABCs of ADUs 2019. Links are below.
