Custom Residences:
During employment at Larry Rouch Co., I worked on custom designed residences in Seattle and Eastside for Northwest tech and art clients that included exceptional detailing. From left to right: oiled metal plate dining table, oval teak Living Room table, two-level metal and etched glass side tables, wenge veneer Kitchen cabinets, teak gate, tile layout, along with many other custom pieces not pictured: stainless steel and airplane grade polycarbonate canopy, steel "origami" table, bed frame/headrest/room divider.
Multi-Family:
During employment with Arellano/Christofides Architects, I worked on design development and construction documents for a triplex on Alki Avenue built on pin piles, with a penthouse unit for the owners.
At GGLO, along with Tonkin Hoyne Architects, I was one in a team of architects on Rainier Vista Hope VI Urban housing development in Columbia City. My role was in design development, permit and construction documents.
Commercial/Institutional:
During employment at FulksInc, a high end construction company, I helped design and permit the conversion of an auto repair building to their offices, adding a new steel post & beam structural system and a clerestory loft that brings diffused light throught the office space. The project included a pivoting entry doors which I detailed with the help of OB Williams as well as custom ceiling - height storage casework and a polycarbonate-walled bathroom.
At Larry Rouch Company, I helped conceive and design the Pioneer Square Cafe/Deruta ceramics store on Occidental Mall. It included opening up an existing brick wall by installing a steel donut to support the opening, color and materials selection, custom display tables and shelves.
At Miller Hull Partnership, I worked on the Pierce County Environmental Services Building for 6 months, helping to finish up the construction set and working with a principal to complete a custom brochure rack and concrete seating.
